Professor Patrick Moss joined QUT from the University of Queensland where he was a Professor in Physical Geography in the School of the Environment and former Head of School of Earth and Environmental Sciences.
Background and Research
His research in the areas of palynology and palaeoecology is related to improving the understanding of how Australian and Southeast Asian landscapes have responded to climatic alterations and/or human impacts.
With a PhD from Monash University Patrick has been Associate Editor of the journal Geographical Research, president and executive member of the Australasian Quaternary Association and member of the K’gari World Heritage Advisory Committee.
