Ms Kate Lynch has joined Medical Deans as the Chief Executive Officer. Kate is a highly accomplished health economist and healthcare leader with extensive experience in market access, patient advocacy and strategic direction.

Background & Professional Leadership 

Kate has held key senior positions in the pharmaceutical and medical technology industries with organisations such as Insulet, IQVIA, and Takeda, where she played a pivotal role in shaping policy, enhancing patient services, and driving organizational growth.

Her leadership credentials include serving as CEO of GBMA (Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Australia) and the Stillbirth Foundation Australia, showcasing her dedication to advancing healthcare outcomes for Australians through collaboration and innovative practices.

Industry Contributions

Kate has actively contributed to the healthcare sector by participating in numerous national and industry advisory groups. Her roles have included representing the industry on the Therapeutic Goods Administration Consultation Forum, the Government’s Pharmaceutical Industry Working Group, and Medicines Partnership Australia, as well as serving as a ministerial appointee to the Code of Conduct Advisory Group.
